Hi ladies and gentlemen and prospective clients.. A little introduction on myself.
Banana daily reporter: Hi Anna. Please tell us more about yourself and where you come from.
Me: Hi everybody! I am a student from Singapore's 3dsense Media School! School has been ongoing for about 2 months now but I'm still pretty excited about it!
Banana daily reporter: Great to hear that! So.. what's this site all about?
Me: This site's where I'm to post my drawings.. I'm thinking, why can we just post it on facebook? Its more convenient since I use facebook more often than blogspot. But since our teacher said we should get a proper site to post our stuff on so that people can see it, here it is. I'm as green as grass so no official portfolio for now. But do check back here for my virgin works.. Yeah.. New to all this art stuff and software and still learning the ropes! But please don't be lenient on the comments. If it sucks, do say it and how i can improve. Hehz. I'm open to change.
Banana daily reporter: Uh huh.. So how's life after joining 3dsense?
Me: So far so good! Been to CG Opendrive last week and it's a great event to be. The size does kinda reflect the current local market and also due to the ongoing H1N1 epidemic, the crowd probably wasn't as big as last year's. Lucasfilm, Double Negative, Codemasters and Rune entertainment are hiring! GO check out their websites. Learnt a great bunch from the conference speakers about their jobs, how they got there and some tips and tricks in the trade. The atmosphere's really fantastic since there's all these visitors from all over the world and after 4 days there, you feel like you can talk to just about anybody. They are all pretty friendly. :D Met Ronald the web designer from the philippines. He's quite into photography too [see the big camera around his neck].
.. oh yeah.. so where were we?
